Step 1 Gather supplies:

5 empty Pringles cans

2 Survival mirrors

Masking tape

Duct Tape

Home built periscope Step 2: Cut the can at 45 degrees and tape on the mirror.

Home built periscope step 3: Cut the second half of the can at 90 degrees from the previous cut. See can on thumb side.

Home built periscope Step 4: Cut a new can with 2 45 degrees to fit in the slot from image on step 3 near fingers.

Home built periscope Step 5: Cut a sleeve to hold the top half using another can.

Home built periscope Step 6: Check your progress

Home built periscope Step 7: Repeat steps 1-4 and finish with tape.  It can swivel because the upper half fits into the lower half.
